...with one of the most essential tourism products in Namibia!
Affordable family accommodation at Etosha National Park,
4,3 kilometres from the Andersson entrance gate near Okaukuejo.
The name Taleni means 'view' or 'vision'. We at Taleni Africa yet again have the view and vision of combining affordability with comfort and style in a private and protected reserve directly adjacent to one of Namibia's highlights.
The days when cattle still grazed the grounds around Etosha are long gone. The mountains where the calves went missing, 'Ondundozonananandana', remain as silent witnesses. Today we preserve this land as prime destination for nature lovers with affordable accommodation in our Taleni Etosha Village taking it's modern styling cues from a traditional African village.
Fourty well appointed self-catering chalets, each featuring twin beds, sleeper couch (free for children under 12!) and en-suite bathroom with open air shower.
Each chalet has its own boma type self-catering area, complete with wash-up area, stove, fridge and BBQ. Eating & cooking utensils available. Our well
stocked on-site utility store, "One Stop Cuca Shop", will cater for all basic needs.
Taleni Etosha Village features an experience of a restaurant! In line with the history of this ancient land, the restaurant area is
spread out, almost 'kraal-like' with natural and traditional building materials as shelter. Our famous buffet meals can be enjoyed in the 'kraal' of your choice.

| Taleni Africa Products Take Gold, Silver & An Eco Award In Namibia |
 | |
The Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN) makes annual Awards of Excellence
to various categories of hospitality establishments in recognition of their hard work, dedication and eagerness to demonstrate the quality of their products and services. These qualities
are recognized by the guests themselves and documented in HAN questionnaires which are sent to independent auditors for annual adjudication.
|
| The Eco Award Namibia are a mark of distinction for accommodation establishments that are planned and managed according to eco-friendly principles. They are
assessed according to a catalogue of seven sets of criteria such as water & waste water management, waste management including recycling practices, energy management,
approach towards the ecology, sustainable construction & landscaping practices as well as staff welfare & development programs and involvement in and social
responsibility towards local communities. The emblem of the eco awards Namibia is the "Desert Flower" which not only symbolises roots, earth,
water, leaves and the sun of Namibia, but also the human being.
